The HS-307 is a long range thermal imager provides high speed, live updating images at distance. It takes the regular body and core of a HS-324 and adds a permenantly attached 65mm lens for substantially higher magnification.
The HS-307 is designed as a law enforcement tool for distant surviellance and recording thermal images. The 65mm lens has also proven popular with sportsmen hunting from treestands or blinds where movement is less of an issue and distance is a priority.
The HS-307 is designed for surviellance teams who have to track and identify sometimes fast moving targets. The 30hz video provides a much faster updating image than the 7.5hz Scout units, which can be a priority when looking for fine details.
By using the included hot shoe attachment and video out abilities, the HS-307 can shift from an individually carried imager to a more permenant asset available to the whole team. Rather than pass an imager between team members, the FLIR unit can be tripod mounted and its video output displayed remotely on a screen. This can be especially valuable when looking for analysis from multiple people at the same time.
65mm Lens
Equipped with its 65mm lens, it features a 7° field of view, allowing you to detect a man-sized object (1.5m x 0.5m) up to 1600 yards (1.5 km) away.
