What Is It?
The Tarsier Eclipse is an advanced Night Vision Goggle (NVG) accessory, allowing the operator to see objects from 18 inches to infinity at the same time and without loss of clarity. It uses a smooth action optical iris that can quickly be adjusted open or closed depending on the amount of ambient light. Additionally, the Tarsier offers a Corning Glass sacrificial lens that can quickly be replaced without tools.
Who Uses It?
Anyone using night vision in a variety of circumstances. This device was designed in response to requests from SOF personnel, but anyone who needs to drive, read displays or shift quickly from indoor to outdoor environments while using night vision will find a huge benefit from the Tarsier.
What Is It Designed For?
The Tarsier Eclipse friction-fits onto the objective lens of most standard NVGs. When fully open, the night vision acts normally, but when closed it becomes a pin hole. This means that users can suddnely focus on both near and far objects.

What Is It Capable Of?
Imagine driving your car at night and only being able to see 200 feet in front of you, but not having the ability to see an exit sign 400 feet away nor the speedometer directly in front of you. The risk is greater during night-time combat operations and now our soldiers have a solution to ensure their additional safety and effectiveness. The Tarsier Eclipse solves this problem by allowing the user to see objects at all distances in all lighting conditions. Truly an evolution in night vision technology.
