In addition to measuring the current wind and weather conditions, the Kestrel 4000 Series has the advantage of data storage, graphing functions, and computer interface technology. With these additional options you will be able to record changes in the weather over time, view these changes as graphs on your 4000's display, and even upload the data to your PC. The Kestrel 4000 Series is now available with optional Bluetooth technology.
The 4000 Series has a night-vision preserving backlight option which helps users to sustain natural night vision. NV backlights are also much dimmer than a standard backlight, making it more difficult to detect with the naked eye in night operations.
