What Is It?

The Avenger monocular is one of the most affordable Gen 2 devices on the market, and provides the basic functions of a night vision monocular for observation in total darkness. This entry level unit is tripod mountable and features an internal IR illuminator that can be activated for use in total darkness.

Who Uses It?

Security professionals and occasional night hunters choose the Avenger monocular because it gives them a true gen plus tube without the expense of helmet mountable worn units. The Avenger is also popular with ranchers and airsofters who are curious to "see whats out there" but are not necesassrily put in harms way.

What Is It Designed For?

With a built in 3x lens, the Avenger is made to be the sort of lightweight monocular that can be carried in a pocket and brought out to glass when the sun sets. This unit can have its range substantially improved by pairing it with an external IR illuminator or infrared flashlight.

What Is It Capable Of?

A goggle kit is available for the Avenger, which includes a 1x lens and hands-free head mount and makes this much more like a Sirius or Nyx monocular. The Avenger can also be used alongside a FLIR PS24 or PS32 to make a comprehensive night vision solution that lets you choose I2 or thermal systems for a reasonable price.
